Camp
Alta Mons,
located in scenic southwest Virginia, is owned and operated by the Roanoke
District of the United Methodist Church. The 875-acre mountain and valley
historic site was formerly a healing springs retreat known as Crockett Springs.
Alta Mons is now a modern camp and retreat center offering a wide variety
of programs and year round facility options. Our Summer camp is for rising
first through twelfth graders and offers a small group (10-14 campers and
two counselors), Christian, outdoor camping experience. Our prayer is that
during your visit you will have an opportunity to experience the splendor
